The companies available to the Trust in the investment universe have good and well managed businesses. Their balance sheets are strong and in normal economic conditions they grow their profits and dividends over time. An investment trust is a public limited company and it is the Board that announces the interim, final and any special dividends.

Dividends on the Ordinary Shares are normally paid half-yearly during August and March in respect of each financial year.
Reinvestment Plan
The Trust operates a Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRIP) which is available to all Shareholders.

Dividend Mandate
To ensure that dividends are received as quickly as possible, the Company’s Registrar, MUFG Corporate Markets, may be instructed to pay them directly into a bank account; tax vouchers are then mailed to shareholders separately. Alternatively, if you have already registered on the Share Portal with the Registrar you can login to record your bank account details. Duration
The Trust has no fixed duration. However, in accordance with the Articles of Association, an ordinary resolution will again be proposed at the 2026 Annual General Meeting (and, if passed, at every third subsequent Annual General Meeting) that the Trust continues to manage its affairs as an investment trust.
